Each piece is hand made with upto 20 processes during manufacture. To create the famous Cornish blue and white bands, the piece is turned by hand removing part of the blue engobe layer to reveal the white clay beneath. After drying out the piece is then 'Biscuit fired'. A clear glaze is then applied before the second firing. Finally, every piece is carefully checked before packing, ready for despatch.
